The BwCollier Approach
Honestly, the only thing that is a constant is that every project starts with a complimentary first consultation. This consultation is strictly a get to know one another meeting. We will assess your needs and tastes and, as a result, establish the best way for us to work together.
Keep in mind, there is no formula to this process. That's what makes our interior design services "custom." Not only is the product fitted towards you, the process is as well. The majority of our projects are approached in one of the following two ways.
A simple rearrangement of your own things will typically require an hourly fee. The fee will be based on your needs (i.e. will we need movers, will we need someone to hang art, do your draperies need to be re-fluffed, etc.). Obviously, the additional staff will require additional charges. A designer consult alone is $150.00 per hour, with a minimum of two hours.
A decorative design plan for a single room, multiple rooms, or an entire house will typically require a designer fee. This fee will be based on the square footage of the project and the extent of detail needed (i.e. a simple furniture rearrangement will cost less than a plan that requires cabinet or shop drawings for trim or floor details). Depending on the situation, we sometimes consider a partial rebate on the designer fee towards purchases from BwCollier.
